The EUHA has published the competition for the 2026 award and is accepting entries from the fields of audiology, hearing aid fitting and customer benefit until 15 August 2026. It is being organised for the 15th time this year and has established itself as a permanent fixture within the industry. What is special about the EUHA Sponsorship Award and what makes it so successful?
‘The aim of the EUHA Sponsorship Award is to promote young talent in the industry and give up-and-coming scientists a platform to present their industry-relevant research and studies,’ explains Eva Keil-Becker. She is Chairwoman of the EUHA Sponsorship Award jury and EUHA Vice President and helped to establish the sponsorship award.
In addition to the prize money, which is between 1,000 and 3,000 euros, the award winners are given the opportunity to present themselves and their work at the world’s largest hearing care event – the EUHA Congress. The award ceremony will take place there as part of the Knowledge Symposium on the first day of the congress. Here they have the opportunity to pass on their knowledge to the interested professional audience.
In addition, an article on the respective research topic will be published in the specialist journal Hörprofil. In this context, the award winners can highlight and explain individual aspects in more detail. The work is also published on the EUHA website.
If you follow the careers of previous EUHA award winners, you will realise that the EUHA sponsorship award can also serve as a career springboard. Some award winners now hold positions at universities and institutes, have become self-employed and specialised, work in expert circles and are involved in the industry.
If you would like to take part, you can apply for the EUHA Sponsorship Award 2026 until 15 August 2026!
EUHA Sponsorship Award 2026: Apply now!
To promote the next generation of acousticians and raise their profile, the EUHA honours outstanding, industry-relevant theses. Until 15 August 2026, the EUHA is accepting diploma, bachelor’s or master’s theses that serve the rehabilitation of losses in the auditory communicative system and have a certain development potential. The jury also emphasises that the work must have a practical benefit for the hearing aid industry. Students at a university or university of applied sciences who have completed their studies within the last 24 months are eligible to apply. You don’t need to be a hearing care professional.
The EUHA Sponsorship Award 2026 will be presented during the 70th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians on 14 October 2026 in Hannover. The winners will receive prize money and present their work at the EUHA Congress. In this way, the EUHA is specifically supporting young talent and enabling the industry to benefit from the latest knowledge and findings.
