#EUHA2024: It’s showtime for the EUHA-Live Area!

The European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) and the German Hearing Instruments Industry Association (BVHI) are continuously developing the International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians: the new EUHA-Live Area featuring a stage, a meeting and networking area links the Congress even more closely with the Industry Exhibition in terms of spatial arrangement and activities.

In the “Partner Innovation Hub”, delegates can get information about the partner country Denmark. Denmark is a high-tech location for hearing aid technology and research. Experts will answer questions at the meeting point and be available for discussions.

At the “Meeting Point for Apprentices/Students”, the focus is on young talent in our line of business. The guided tours for young people in the industry will start from there, and lectures will be offered on topics for young talent such as “tips and tricks for the journeyman examination”.

In the “Hearing Aid Acoustics” corner, the European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians is presenting its training offers and services for its members. Those interested can find out more about these while enjoying a coffee speciality.

This year, for the first time, three selected start-up companies will be presenting their ideas and innovations in the fourth corner.

Congress opening

The Congress will be opened on Wednesday, 16 October 2024, at 9:15 a.m., in the EUHA-Live Area in Hall 6. Access is free for all visitors. Beate Gromke (EUHA) and Gregor Dittrich (BVHI) will welcome exhibitors and delegates. Lower Saxony’s Minister for Social Affairs, Employment, Health and Equal Opportunities, Dr Andreas Philippi, has been invited to deliver a message of greeting from the state government. Peder Søgaard-Pedersen, Director for DI Life Science/Dansk Industri, will represent Denmark, this year’s partner country.

The new EUHA-Live Area offers an exciting programme onstage, four information corners, and plenty of space for networking.
