EUHA cooperates with AKUSTIKA

The aim of the agreement is to promote exchange at the European level. The associations strive for a trusting cooperation. Communicating scientific findings into practice is an important aspect of the agreement, as is improving the exchange of information between practice, science and technology at European level. Both associations have committed themselves to actively supporting further education and qualification within the industry.

Furthermore also focused on exchanging practical experiences from the changing working world of hearing and to draw lessons from them, as well as to grow together and thus become attractive and thus to be attractive partners for the members.

In order to achieve these common goals the cooperation partners have decided to work together in the areas of communication and public relations, on a professional level and at events, and there are also benefits for members.

EUHA President Beate Gromke is very pleased about the cooperation: “We all benefit from this cooperation and strengthen each other. I am particularly pleased that the members of our associations can take part in the events of both associations at reduced rates. That is a win-win in every respect!”. In addition she reveals that Switzerland will be the partner country for the first time at this year’s EUHA Congress in 2023.

René Bürgin, President of AKUSTIKA, emphasises the relevance exchange: “International tasks require international cooperation. We are very much looking forward to the cooperation with the EUHA and hope to be able to present the first fruits of our joint efforts at the upcoming EUHA Congress.”

About the EUHA

With a comprehensive range of further training seminars and a congress, the hearing aid acousticians in the sector can continue their education. Through an agreement between the members and AKUSTIKA, guidelines have been drawn up to ensure quality for the customer. The public is also made aware of the importance of hearing through targeted PR measures. The good cooperation with the federal authorities is intended to ensure fair framework conditions for the hearing aid industry in the area of dispensing hearing systems and thus the quality of hearing aid fittings for the hearing impaired.
