70th International Congress of Hearing Acousticians

 14–16 October 2026, Hanover

 Good hearing connects people, enhances quality of life, and enables participation in society.

The 70th International Congress of Hearing Acousticians focuses on the latest developments and future trends in hearing and hearing care. The scientific programme offers the latest insights from research and practice as well as fresh perspectives on communication, marketing, and artificial intelligence.

The congress will open with a keynote by entrepreneur, author, and lateral thinker Dr Peter Kreuz, who will explore change, courage, and new perspectives.

Another key focus is the 8th International Conference on Hyperacusis and Misophonia (ICHM8), which takes place in parallel with the congress. International experts will present the latest findings on hyperacusis and misophonia. Friday will also be dedicated to artificial intelligence, with presentations, workshops, and practical sessions.

A special programme also awaits trainees and students. Our partner country, the Netherlands, will present itself under the motto “Orange is the new sound”. In addition, international start-ups will showcase their ideas and innovative solutions. The EUHA Live Area will be a central meeting point for networking, knowledge sharing, and fresh inspiration.
