Opening ceremony

All delegates are cordially invited to join the opening reception and ceremony. There is no fee for attending these events.

Types of tickets

One-day tickets are valid to gain one-time access to the trade exhibition during opening hours.

Season tickets are valid to gain multiple access to the trade exhibition during opening hours and to the conference lectures.

One-day combi tickets are valid to gain one-time access to the trade exhibition and to the conference lectures.

Tickets for the tutorials are only available to holders of a one-day combi ticket for 17 Oct 2019 (T1–T4) or 18 Oct 2019 (T5–T6), and season ticket holders. They are valid to gain one-time access to the tutorial(s) booked.

Tickets for the Congress Get-together are valid to gain one-time access to the evening event.

Tickets may not be returned or exchanged after purchase.

Buying tickets

Please book the tickets required online from our website. Upon receipt of your binding registration, your
e-ticket and/or mobile ticket (passbook/wallet) will be sent to you by e-mail, together with your invoice. Please note that early bird prices apply until 1 October 2019 (23.59 h). Payment methods: Credit card (Visa, V PAY, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners Club, American Express), PayPal, or cash in advance (bank transfer, please note only available until 6 Oct. 2019).

  • Please print out your e-ticket in good quality on a sheet of paper, or have your mobile ticket (passbook/wallet) ready on your mobile device.
  • Your e-ticket is personalised and thus non-transferable.
  • After scanning your e-ticket at the turnstile, you will receive a badge admitting you to the events booked. You may be asked to provide proof of identity (passport, identification card, driving licence, membership card).
  • The customer is required to keep the printed ticket in a safe place in order to prevent third parties from producing unauthorised duplicates. The organiser reserves the right to deny admission to the holder(s) of such duplicates carrying identical barcodes to the holder of the original ticket.
  • After the printable ticket has been transmitted, tickets purchased online cannot be refunded or returned.
  • Terms and Conditions and the Data Privacy Policy of our online ticket shop apply.
  • We will charge a processing fee of €10.00, incl. VAT, for issuing lost copies of the certificate of attendance.
  • Tickets may also be purchased at the venue. We accept cash, and all major credit cards.

NEW: Future Friday

The Future Friday will be held on 18 October 2019. The additional activities are free for all Congress participants:

  9.30-10.30 h   Fast Track Presentations (Room Sydney, Level 1)
10:30-13.30 h   Events in the Trade Exhibition (Halls 3A and 4A)
14.00-17.00 h   Additional presentations (Room Hongkong, Level 1, Room Kopenhagen, Level 2)

EUHA Lounge

LoungeThe EUHA Lounge is located at the Mercator-Lounge (Level 1), and opens on 17 and 18 October 2019, from 10:00 to 16:00 h. Admission for EUHA members is free (please have your EUHA membership card and proof of identity ready). Guests are admitted only if accompanied by a EUHA member. One guest is free, from the second guest, we will charge €20.00 admission fee per person.

Cancellation of the event by the organiser

Should the organiser (EUHA) have to cancel the Congress – for any reason whatsoever –, payment received for registration fees will be refunded in full. Further claims for damages, such as cancellation fees for hotel accommodation, travel costs, etc., are expressly excluded.

Continuing education units (CEUs)

Congress delegates who take part in the lectures will receive a certificate and EUHA members will be awarded 10 units per day for the EUHA signet.

The Congress has been approved and certified by the approval centre for continuing education of the Federal Guild of Hearing Aid Acousticians (ID 19101702) for 20 CEUs for season ticket holders, and for 4 CEUs (first day, ID 19101703), 5 CEUs (second day, ID 19101801), and 7 CEUs (third day, ID 19101901) for holders of one-day combi tickets for the lectures and trade exhibition.

An information desk run by the German Hearing Aid Industry Association (BVHI) for exhibitors is located in the foyer of the Convention Center. On Tuesday, it will be open between 10:00 and 17:00 h, on Wednesday and Thursday, between 9:00 and 17:00 h, and on Friday between 9:00 and 14:00 h, and may be contacted by phone on +49 (0)9 11/86 06-69 78.

EUHA Congress office

The Congress office is located in the Nord foyer of the Convention Center.

Simultaneous translation

Simultaneous translation of all presentations, except for the tutorials T1–T6, will be provided for German and English. Headphones will be available in front of the lecture hall.

Cashpoints (ATMs)

There is an EC cashpoint in the foyer of the NCC Ost.

Parking facilities

There is plenty of parking space at the „P Ost“ car park on the exhibition site as well as in the parking garage. Fee per day/car: h 10.00. Please follow the directions of the electronic parking guidance system for „EUHA-Kongress“.

Bus shuttle service

There will be a free bus shuttle service operating between „Messe“ underground railway station and NCC Ost at short, regular intervals. In addition, there will be shuttle services to the venue of the Congress Get-together on 17 October 2019 (Resi club) operating as follows:
18:30 to 21:00 h     between     NCC Ost and Resi
21:00 to 02:00 h     between     Resi and NCC Ost
21:00 to 02:00 h     between     Resi and Nuremberg main station

Photography/Audiovisual recording policy

Please note that taking photos of, or recording, the content of slides, poster presentations, and supporting materials in the meeting rooms and/or exhibition halls is prohibited, including the use of smartphones and other mobile devices to this effect. Photography and/or filming permits are available from the EUHA office upon request.

The EUHA will take photographs and video recordings during the International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians and associated events (such as the Congress Get-together). By purchasing a ticket for the Congress and/or the trade exhibition, participants consent that the EUHA may record, use, and distribute (on a storage medium or electronically) photo and video footage on which they are shown.
